Robert Clippinger
President, Chief Executive Officer

Robert graduated from California State Polytechnic University with bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance and Law in 1984. He started his career in banking as an auditor then moved to the real estate investment industry as a broker and associate at an investment firm in Orange County. He was involved in brokerage activities and won awards for sales goals. Robert joined a startup investment firm in 1986 and was involved in many facets of that company’s growth and development. Robert formed Clippinger Investment Properties, Inc. in 1994 and has owned and operated the company ever since. His activities include brokerage activities, asset and property management, including renovation and lease up management for newly acquired assets, and capital formation for new real estate investments as well as asset management for over 200 investor partners. In addition, Robert is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors for Gateway Business Bank where he also served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee. He has served in various roles for independent real estate business associations. Robert developed an award-winning mixed-use property in Sacramento and managed the renovation and sale of condominiums to a new luxury standard in Downtown Sacramento. The condominiums sold at record high prices for the Sacramento market. Robert has managed the renovation of historic national monument residential properties. He maintains a strong commercial brokerage presence in Orange, Los Angeles, and Sacramento markets. Bob is a member of Lambda Alpha International, honorary society for the advancement of land economics.

Robert renovation experience includes taking previously used commercial spaces and transforming them into mixed use, as is the 1020 12th Street award winning property in Sacramento’s core. He also transformed twin 35,000 square foot medical building in Lake Forest, California into offices for the County of Orange Social Welfare Department. Robert has developed ground up, build to suit 40,000 square foot construction for the Food and Drug Administration in San Clemente and a build to suite corporate headquarters for Sonance Corp. in the same business park. Robert partnered with Dynamic Builders to construct a new, all build to suit, nine (9) building business park in Fullerton that was over 345,000 square feet. These buildings were held for lease then sold. Robert has developed and held for long term several mixed-use properties and performed build out for restaurants, retail and office tenants or all kinds. Robert retains good relationships in these markets and with many of his long-term tenants.

Robert’s involvement in non-profit foundations has extended from the formation and operation of Hope’s House, homes for individuals fleeing abusive relationships and homelessness, Gays with Kids, a national platform that supports the rights and encourages formations of all families with children, and a long-term relationship with World Vision, a worldwide Christian charity that supports communities, families and children. Robert supports other family forward organizations and volunteers with Salvation Army’s food provision program in Hollywood. Robert’s hobbies include old (he will say classic) cars, gardening, cooking, travel, family, and exercise.

Froukje Zieleman
Vice President, Operations

Froukje Zieleman, Vice President Operations, has more that eighteen years of experience in commercial real estate. This experience includes roles as executive administrative assistant Capital Finance Department and later to CFO as well as manager of commercial real estate.

Sam Kassim
Vice President, Marketing & Design

Sam has over 15 years of management experience with an emphasis on marketing, sales, business development and client/corporate communications & design. Prior to joining Clippinger Investment Properties in 2012, Sam was Vice President of Sales for Merrill, Business Development Manger for Serpico P.C., & Director of Communications for Diversified Private Equity Corporation.  He is currently a  licensed Salesperson with the California Bureau of Real Estate, as well as an independent Commercial & Interior Designer. Sam graduated Cum Laude and holds a Bachelor of Finance degree from Seton Hall University. In his spare time, he teaches cycling and enjoys weekend hikes with his silver labradors.
